ISS is available virtually and in-person Mondays-Fridays during business hours.
If your immigration documents have expired, you cannot resume your studies unless you have聽 or you have obtained a new CAQ聽and Study Permit. All international students are responsible for maintaining valid immigration documents and legal status throughout the duration of their program of studies.
Renewing Immigration Documents:
|1-term Exchange Student
(Less than 6 months) continuing studies to the second term
(Undergraduate & Graduate) continuing studies in the same degree or new degree
|Certificate of Acceptance of Quebec (CAQ)
|Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)*
|*If applicable. These documents correspond to the nationality of the student. Check the 聽to find out if you need one to enter Canada.聽*听ONLY U.S. Citizens and permanent residents are exempt from needing an eTA or a TRV

- 笔补蝉蝉辫辞谤迟听- Your study permit and temporary resident visa (TRV) cannot be issued past the expiration date of your passport. Renew your passport at least 6 months before it expires. Check this to find your country's closest Consulate or Embassy.
- Depending on when your study permit and your TRV (if applicable) expire, you may need to remain in Canada while your applications are processing.聽For more information, see Study Permit FAQs > Current Students > Question #6.
- Keep records聽-聽Ensure that you keep photocopies and/or digital copies聽of all application forms and supporting documents that you send to Immigration Canada and Immigration Qu茅bec.
- Send new immigration documents to 91社区. Once your CAQ and study permit have been renewed, submit copies of these to 91社区's Legal Documents.
